Ring the bell. Wait a second. Your phone lights up: it’s Jade. She buzzes you in, and just like that, you’re past the intercom. Up the elevator you go.
If you’re wondering: yes, this is the filtering process. Jade gets along with lots of people, but to get past the front door (literal or metaphorical), well, there’s no going around it: you have to earn it. The same rule applies at Casa, where chemistry is everything. After all, when you spend that much time together, hitting it off isn’t optional.
Luckily for us, she’s decided we’re worth letting into her space.
The first thing we see? Actually, it’s more of a feeling. Incense is burning. The lighting is soft. Overhead lighting is more than prohibited, she tells us. It’s a criminal offense. Jazz plays in the background.
The place feels ready, like she’s been expecting the company. And honestly, we aren’t surprised: creating moments on purpose is all Jade. She thinks through what people will need, what they’ll feel, what questions they’ll ask before they even arrive. So our host is more than ready to show us around her space.
Hi Jade, thank you for welcoming us! First things first, what’s this by your front door?
My bar cart! I love collecting mismatched thrifted glasses, so everyone gets to pick the one that fits them best when they come over. You’ll also one of the many plants I tend to diligently, and one of the multiple art pieces (mostly vintage photography) I have framed all around.
So, while we get situated, take us through your typical mornings.
Of course! You’ll have time to get your bearings, because I’m very much a 5-to-9 before your 9-to-5 kind of person. I love to have some time for myself first thing in the morning, I never believed in getting up for work. I read, I do some slow skincare, I make myself some breakfast… by the time I’m out the door towards the office, it feels like I’ve already had a day for myself.
And when do you call it a day?
Around 5:30–5:45. And after the productive days I have, there’s no guilt, no fuss. Bye! I’m big on having a life outside of work and setting boundaries.
I’ll enjoy a walk home, make some dinner (pasta, 95% of the time), and enjoy a guilty pleasure podcast or a show (reaaally into Sex and the City at the moment). That, to me, is the perfect routine to wind down.
What are the building blocks of a good day for you?
Laughter, movement, and a creative hobby, like learning how to crochet. And making time for it all in a cute planner (please someone get me this one).

I love anything mid-century meets retro, and I’m an especially big fan of vintage pictures. But honestly, anything with a good creative direction will get hung at my place.
And what’s missing that would make this your dream home?
Hmm let me think… A steam sauna. AND a dry one. A huge kitchen made for hosting. And mayhaps a dedicated reading nook.
Any icons on the mantel?
Hailey Bieber with Rhode. Some might think that’s a basic answer, but I don’t care: I’m truly impressed by how she built her own makeup empire, with products that double as accessories. I mean, turning a lip balm into a status symbol people photograph and literally buy phone cases for? Come on now. That’s sharp, thoughtful marketing, and I respect it.
That baby photo, is that you? Were you already dreaming of working in an agency?
Not at all! I wanted to be a teacher, so much so that I was giving lessons to imaginary students alone in my bedroom… until I discovered I have terrible stage fright.
Psychology was my other love, but after spending a career day with a psychoanalyst, I realized it was too lonely a job for me. I needed something faster-paced, more people-oriented. So I realigned toward business and marketing. After all, isn’t it all cut from the same understanding-people cloth?
Now that you mention it, what’s going to influence your 2026?
The vision board is full, trust me. Cute work outfits. An ever-growing reading list. Spending more time crafting. Planning my next trip. Refreshing my home decor.
The overall theme this year is to challenge myself in new ways, so I can keep growing, not just my skill set, but as a person.
And in your kitchen, what projects are simmering?
I want to keep elevating Casa Media’s social media department so we can become true leaders in our industry, a resource people turn to for creativity and reactivity.
A brand you think is killing it right now?
Well, Rhode, as you know… but sticking with the beauty theme, I think Merit’s socials and overall branding is something truly special.
If Casa opened another office anywhere, where would it be?
Paris. I traveled there in the fall and my heart stayed behind. Or Mallorca (more tanning, please)!
And if you were a piece of furniture?
Hmm… IKEA organizers. I’m all about the little details that quietly make life easier, for myself and for others.Or!! A diffuser, because I also like contributing to a peaceful atmosphere.
